Originally site of the Hok Yuen Power Station, it was relocated from 1994 to 1996 and subsequently redeveloped into residential housing (although the power station's substation was not demolished and has been relocated from the development site). The development was built by Cheung Kong Holdings and CLP Group, designed and planned by Hsin Yip Architects, and managed by Goodway Property Management, a subsidiary of Cheung Kong Holdings. Phase 1 was constructed by Hin Lee Engineering; Phases 2 and 3, along with the residents' clubhouse, are modern buildings; Phases 4 and 5, along with the Laguna Verde shopping mall, are by Sapford Construction.
